GOD SPEAKS THROUGH ANOINTED HANDS

We have anointed hands, because we are His temple.  Often our hands will turn exactly to the place He wants us to read.  It is not coincidence we happen to turn to something that hits home!  It is a real joy to begin to realize He lives in and through our hands. 

Once I was worrying about a letter the Lord inspired me to write.  In prayer, I turned to my Bible two times.  The first page I turned to, my eyes fell on the margin phrase: “writing of a letter.”  The second turn was a highlighted “needless fear.”  I was given perfect peace and I stood on that confirmation from God.

I have had many wonderful experiences where God has spoken straight to my heart through anointed hands.  This is one of the easiest ways to hear from God.  I read and study the Bible, have received countless visions, hearing His still small voice, and revelations.  But I am not ashamed to say God has anointed my hands and He speaks to me through this wonderful and easy way.  The Bible is not the only way He uses anointed hands.  I have opened phone books, and other books right to the exact subject He is speaking to me about or that I am searching for.  The gift of anointed hands also connects directly with Quickened Eye Glances which is another way of hearing from the Lord.

On 4/14/94 I had a picture vision that I was smearing my hands in sticky, syrup.   

The word anointing means anything smeared on.  It has been a sign to me that throughout the years when I have stood in lines to be prayed for by many visiting prophets and anointed men of God, that for some reason when they pray for me, they touch my hands (that are in the receiving position/ palms up) to pray, then touch them a second time.  After they have finished praying and turn to the next person, several of them have stopped in mid motion and deliberately returned to “touch” my hands a second time.  Some of them have smeared them as though they are wiping something on my palms.  This has happened so many times I lost count.  And  I have never seen them to this to others so it is not normal practice.  I have believed that somehow the Lord actually spoke to them and said something that made them return and touch a second time.  I have always felt that the Lord was emphasizing His gift of anointed hands, which goes way beyond our normal understanding of how our hands are anointed.

I have often found myself worshipping with my hands.  Sometimes it is pantomime, sometimes real sign language, and something just movements I feel that express the emotions in my heart as I pour out my love to Him.  I have felt the Lord’s Presence and blessing upon me as I have worshipped Him in this way through my hands.

Beloved one, I AM smearing your hands with My anointing and they shall be led by My holy unction through the Holy Spirit.  I will open your eyes to see how I will direct your hands through My anointing.

“And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand:  And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD.”  (Lev 14:15-16 KJV)

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” (Romans 8:14 KJV)

RHEMA 5/9/00:  I WILL ESTABLISH YOU

HEARD:  I heard the Lord say, I am maturing you quickly.  Setting you like concrete.

[This was very comforting to me as I was feeling very unstable and insecure.]

HOLY SPIRIT REMINDER:  I suddenly remembered that at home group last year someone saw my feet planted in concrete and said my feet would become set and stable and that there would be no foot mold quite like mine.

CONFIRMATION ANOINTED HANDS: I turned in my Bible to this scripture: 

Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;” 

(2 Cor 1:21) 

When I looked up the word Stablisheth, it means to confirm the foot!

Beloved, even though you feel unstable and insecure, I want you to know I will set your life like concrete.  I will plant your feet firmly so that you will be strong and be able to stand.  Your walk in Me will become firmly steadfast and sure.  Do not fear Beloved, I AM the One Who establishes you.  It is My promise.

But it is God Who confirms and makes us steadfast and establishes us [in joint fellowship] with you in Christ, and has consecrated and anointed us [enduing us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit].

RHEMA 10/20/97:  LO HE IS WITH ME!
Today is my day of surgery and I was really blessed by His combined “Word” to me:

QUICKENED CALENDAR:  This was so precious!  It was Jeffy in Family Circus following right behind in the footsteps of his Mama, saying, “Lo, I am with you always!”  My son as a toddler used to do this to me when ever I went from room to room.  We even have a picture of him following me when he was a toddler, with his foot in midair taking a step.

CONFIRMATION QUICKENED GLANCE:  As I am still chuckling at the calendar, I sat down on my bed and glanced at my electric blanket dial, and my eyes gazed at the word, “Lo.”  That is how it was spelled, exactly as the calendar chuckle.  Such a precious confirmation to my day.  I may be feeling really low right now and have to be in bed for a while, but He is with me.  :o)

ANOINTED HANDS CONFIRMATION! 

I turned in my Bible to the following words that I had highlighted!

AH:  Awaken.  Sleep.  My Beloved.  Sleep.

The above is SO funny and comforting!  Today is the day of my surgery.  I am going to be put to sleep under anaesthesia.  I am comforted and know when I wake up all will be fine.

Prov 3:24 NKJV

When you lie down, you will not be afraid; Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.

RHEMA 5/11/98:  PRAYER CONFIRMED BY ANOINTED HANDS 

Prayer:  Oh Lord open my eyes that I might see, open my ears that I might hear and open my heart that I might understand!

AH (!):  I immediately turned with anointed hands to this scripture!  COOL!!

Luke 24:31 KJV

And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

Luke 24:31-32 NLT

Suddenly, their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And at that moment he disappeared! They said to each other, "Didn't our hearts feel strangely warm as he talked with us on the road and explained the Scriptures to us?"

RHEMA 10/30/02  REST, REST, REST

Today I turned with anointed hands to the following scripture:

Heb 4:5-12 NLT

But in the other passage God said, "They will never enter my place of rest."   6 So God's rest is there for people to enter. But those who formerly heard the Good News failed to enter because they disobeyed God. 7 So God set another time for entering his place of rest, and that time is today. God announced this through David a long time later in the words already quoted:

"Today you must listen to his voice. Don't harden your hearts against him."   This new place of rest was not the land of Canaan, where Joshua led them. If it had been, God would not have spoken later about another day of rest. 9 So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. 10 For all who enter into God's rest will find rest from their labors, just as God rested after creating the world. 11 Let us do our best to enter that place of rest. For anyone who disobeys God, as the people of Israel did, will fall.  12 For the word of God is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires. It exposes us for what we really are.

CONFIRMATION ANOINTED HANDS: Then I turned to the following Word to Ponder:

WORD TO PONDER:  REST, REST, AND REST 2/27/02   

The load is heavy and much too much for you. You just lean back and let Me carry you, and carry your load too. You have wonderful healing gifts coming. But I want you healthy to share them. I want to bring you into sabbath rest of perfect belief and trust in Me.

“There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” (Heb 4:9-11 KJV)

There was teaching in the 1970’s against using Anointed Hands to hear the Lord.  In the 2000’s I have heard many respectable prophets share their stories of asking the Lord for a scripture confirmation and they open their Bibles and it is right there in front of them.

The truth is that everything God created as a good gift is stolen and copied by the enemy for his own purposes.  The enemy uses the same things God teaches for the occult.  When the Lord first taught me about anointed hands, He said it was like the Urim and the Thummin that He gave the high priest to hear Him.  We are all priests and have the whole Bible for Him to speak to us through His Word.

The scripture says that whatever is not of faith is sin.  If you were involved in some form of witchcraft in the past, like even using childhood games with your hands, then it is wrong for you until you have overcome through your faith.  A wavering man receives nothing from the Lord.  To the pure, all things are pure.  If you can "stand" and rebuke the enemy, then you are doing well and overcoming.   

Rom 14:22-23 NKJV
But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin.  

 

Titus 1:15-16  NKJV
To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.

I think the key is using your faith and consecrating your hands for His service as PURE.  Anointed hands is a wonderful gift and part of my life in the Lord.  And He brings so many other confirmations that connect with the AH. 

THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE

Remember that when we ask the Lord for His good gift, He will not give us a serpent.  This is His promise. 

Luke 11:9-13  NKJV

So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.  11 If a son asks for bread  from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?  12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?  13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!

When God gives us good gifts, He gives His LOVE.  When we worry about anyway God speaks to us, the way we overcome is to know His love. 

1 John 4:18-19 NKJV

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

The Lord reminded me of when I was 16 and a lady tried so hard to witness to me about speaking in tongues and the baptism.  I was indoctrinated that it was of the devil and was having a very terrible time of wavering.  I was scared of being deceived.

One day I was so sick of wavering that I realized something very simple.  The devil doesn’t love.  This lady really loved me and the people that were telling me it was of the devil definitely did not love me.  They had sharp teeth and were speaking unkindly about those who spoke in tongues.  I knew the Lord sent her and it was her LOVE that won me over. 

CONSECRATED HANDS

It is important when you begin to hear God through anointed hands, that first you dedicate and consecrate them for His use.  Don’t use your hands for evil and/or carnal things that are either sin or carnal activity.  Give your hands to God to be used for Him and His glory.  Let your hands be Jesus’ hands, let Jesus live through your hands.  It is always a good idea to ask the Lord to anoint your hands each time before opening the Bible or any other book.

Secondly, avoid using this method like an 8 ball, or some other form of “magic” to gain answers from Him.  He may allow you to use anointed hands for that kind of guidance for a while, just so that you learn He wants to speak to your personal life and that He does speak this way.  But sooner or later He will wean you of that, if the gift is being used wrongly.  One way this may happen is that if you are using it as a form of magic to gain answers, you will suddenly be given the exact opposite answers back to back.  Then you are left knowing that someone is talking to you about the exact subject you are asking about, but the answers are opposing one another and you are left wavering!  Scripture says that a wavering man receives nothing from the Lord in the way of wisdom.  

James 1:5-8 NLT

If you need wisdom — if you want to know what God wants you to do — ask him, and he will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking. 6 But when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to answer, for a doubtful mind is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. 7 People like that should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 They can't make up their minds. They waver back and forth in everything they do.

The way He taught me to comply with His anointing, is that when I feel drawn to turn in the Bible, or my devotional book Words to Ponder, or one of my printed volumes of rhema, I am just open to Him as to what He wants to say.  I am not asking Him any questions or striving with Him at all.  I am simply needing to hear from Him and hoping He will draw me to the perfect Word.  Here are my favorite books outside of the Bible that I use for anointed hands.  God has spoken to me so many times to the exact point of need, I have lost count.  He uses these Words as a confirmation to what I am already thinking about.

Another stumbling block is that people who use anointed hands as a daily practice need to also READ and study the scripture in context and search Him in other ways in the Bible and also hear Him in the other ways that He speaks.  You need to stay balanced and know Him in as many ways as you can.  

If you consider the simple logic that if all you do is have a certain number of scriptures highlighted and all you do is read those scriptures, then there are only a certain number of subjects God can talk to you about.  Eventually you end up going in circles about the same subjects.  You need to grow and expand in your understanding of Who God is, what He is saying and gain fresh new revelations on a consistent basis.
