Hi Class
This week I was praying over my 2
½ year old grandson as I was changing his diaper. It was
a short, simple prayer and when I was done he said,
‘AMEN!” I was so surprised to have him listening and
participating.
I heard once that when the Lord
said, “Verily, verily” twice within a sentence, it was
His double-duty underlining of His reassuring Word. The
word “verily” means amen.
amen
NT:281 amen (am-ane'); of Hebrew
origin [OT:543]; properly, firm, i.e. (figuratively)
trustworthy; adverbially, surely (often as interj. so be
it):
KJV - amen, verily.
This week I had a surprise day of
“wind” confirmations. The fact that they happened all
within just a few hours was like the Lord saying,
“Verily, verily!” I feel that because His emphasis was
so strong, He is wanting us to dig deeper into this Word
and seek His face as its meaning and applications in our
lives this season and next.
As a class assignment, I would
like you to read the following rhema and dig into your
interpretation skills. See what the Lord will draw out,
and quicken to you.
RHEMA 8/03/09
FOUR fresh windS to lift you up
Last month I heard the following
about God’s fresh wind coming:
rhema 7/21/09 FRESH WIND
HEARD:
Leader. Overwhelmed.
HEARD:
Chronic fatigue blowers. The gift of prayer. Wind.
Finding help. Loose My people. Fresh wind. What is
consistent for you? What God wants. Faith, hope and
love.
Today, all in the same day came
several strong confirmations from the Lord about His
wind.
QUICKENED SIGN:
I started to read an EL post and suddenly felt a cool
breeze wash across the tops of my feet. It was very
amazing to me and wondered what it meant.
CONFIRMATION:
Then a few minutes later I had a quickened eye glance at
the following bolded sentence:
Kim Clement: "Invisible Motion: Be
Aware—Listen—Move!"
by Kim Clement
Aug 3, 2009
"And let it be, when you hear the sound of a going on in
the tops of the mulberry trees, that then you will stir
yourself: for then the Lord shall go out before you…"—2
Samuel 5:24
It was a simple breeze that
stirred the tops of the mulberry trees—nothing
incredible or super spiritual—just a breeze. But that
breeze was a sign for a forceful advance for King
David...
...Often on a calm day there
will be a sudden and unexpected wind blow—completely
uncharacteristic of the calmness—and at that point I
will become extremely aware and ponder. I'm not saying
that every breeze should be a sign, but you will know
when something is out of the ordinary.
{end quote}
CONFIRMATION DIVINE SIGN:
Today I spent the day with Anna out of town and we drove
to a duck pond to chat. There were several hundred
turtle doves eating on the grass in front of our car.
Suddenly there came a blast of wind and we watched all
the turtle doves swoop up into the sky, circle around
and then land again right in front of our car. I think
they did this 4 times with several minutes of rest in
between. They did this with each gust of wind. It was
phenomenal to see so many hundreds doing the exact same
thing in perfect symmetry and motion. It was like a
host of angels. And each time they circled and came in
for a landing, they were all heading straight for our
car. At the last minute they swooped up and over our
heads and then landed right in front of us on the
grass. It was beautiful and intimidating all in one
swoop.
CONFIRMATION:
I received the following email today. It reminded me of
what it is like to have a servant’s heart and lift
others up into their places in God, through prayer.
Good Morning, Sandy Dear,
While up early this a.m. making
the coffee, the song by Bette Midler started 'playing
in my head', "Wind Beneath My Wings". I've not heard
the song for a Long, long time.
Wind Beneath My Wings"
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
It must have been cold there in my shadow,
to never have sunlight on your face.
You were content to let me shine, that's your way.
You always walked a step behind.
So I was the one with all the glory,
while you were the one with all the strength.
A beautiful face without a name for so long.
A beautiful smile to hide the pain.
Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
'cause you are the wind beneath my wings.
It might have appeared to go unnoticed,
but I've got it all here in my heart.
I want you to know I know the truth, of course I know
it.
I would be nothing without you.
Did you ever know that you're my hero?
You're everything I wish I could be.
I could fly higher than an eagle,
'cause you are the wind beneath my wings.
Love, {Name}
CONFIRMATION QUOTE Chuck pierce
8/03/09
“End Strong, Retool, Refuel and
Refill!
This is a time for us to end
strong and retool, refuel, and refill so that we can
begin strong again. The month of August is a great time
to reflect, and then make it through the narrow place by
letting go of things that will not be useful in days
ahead. Those are the things that rob you of joy and
victory. This year we end a 10 year season, so this is
especially important. The Wind is getting ready to
shift in prophetic intercession!”
{end quote}
Word to ponder: FOUR fresh windS
to lift you up 8/03/09
Precious ones, you have been
resting by the waters in the midst of hot days. Battle
weary and fatigued from having born the heat of the
season, I see you waiting upon Me to continue. What is
remaining in your life is faith, hope and love. This
pleases Me greatly.
Find hope in your souls beloveds,
I AM sending My fresh winds to loose you and lift you
up. I will be quickening many through the winds of
prayer, having drawn hearts to rise with My wind of
inspiration. I will send you 4 circling winds that will
refresh you and revitalize you as you wait for My
strength.
Ezek 37:9-10 NKJV
Also He said to me, "Prophesy
to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the
breath, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "Come from the four
winds , O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they
may live."'" So I prophesied as He commanded me, and
breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon
their feet, an exceedingly great army.
Ps 55:6 NKJV
So I said, "Oh, that I had
wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.
Song 4:16 NKJV
Awake, O north wind, And come,
O south! Blow upon my garden, That its spices may flow
out. Let my beloved come to his garden and eat its
pleasant fruits.
CLASS RESPONSES AND
INTERPRETATIONS
OF THE WIND RHEMA
Here are my thoughts on 4 kinds of
wind directions
1. South wind = deliverance
2. North wind = cleans the air
3. East Wind = famine
4. West Wind = rain
This is exciting and
challenging... I will explain later but what is
quickened to me is:
First Wind, the wind Ruach -
breath, God breathed into Adam Genesis 2:7 and he became
a living being...and in Acts 17:28...in HIm we live and
move and have our being...
Second Wind, Elijah experienced
the 'strong wind' of God in 1 Kings19:11 then the
earthquake and the fire, then in verse 12...a sound of
gentle blowing...then Elijah heard the voice of the
Lord's new commission for him, probably just when he
felt at his weakest, God said you are not finished
Elijah there is another season for you and it's a new
season in which I want you to anoint Hazael king over
Aram and Jehu as king over Israel and after dealing with
the treachery of the Baal worshippers, Elijah was to
anoint Elisha in his place.
Third Wind, also quickened to me
as it was to Sandy 2 Sam 5:23-25 When David enquired of
the Lord regarding go up against the Philistines and the
Lord directed him in verse 24...And it shall be, when
you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the
balsaam trees, then you shall act promptly, for then the
LORD will have gone out before you to strike the army of
the Philistines.
Fourth Wind that of the Holy
Spirit in Acts 2:1 came to those gathered on the day of
Pentecost in the upper room like a "mighty rushing
wind"... Then further John 3:8 "The wind blows where it
wishes and you hear the sound of it ..."
I love the fact that you and Anna
were ambushed in a manner of speaking by "hundreds of
turtle doves". In The Song of Songs 2:12 speaks of the
fact that spring has come, "The flowers have already
appeared in the land; the time has arrived for pruning
the vines, and the voice of the turtle dove can be heard
in the land". He is certainly saying "verily verily" or
truly truly, it is the season of love, the song of the
turtledove is a song of love.
Could it be the time to say S of S
4:16 Awake O north wind, and come, wind of the south,
make my garden breathe out fragrance, let its spices be
wafted abroad. May my beloved come into his garden and
eat its choice fruits. In the northern hemisphere I
imagine the north wind is the cold wind and the south
wind the warm. The cold north wind represents our
trials and now it is Spring and the gentle warming south
wind starts to blow bringing the new season.
He is the God of the New. Lam
3:23 ...Great is Thy faithfulness, His mercies are new
every morning... Isaiah 43:18-19 Do not call to mind
the former things, or ponder things of the past. Behold
I will do something new, Now itwill spring forth; will
you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in
the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.
The number four of which you speak
as to the number of times the turtledoves alighted and
then landed in front of the car, represent ruling and
reigning according to Ira Milligan's Understanding the
Dreams that You Dream. So to wrap it up it seems to me
from the above that the Wind of the Spirit through the
turtledove is going to rule and reign through the
challenging and difficult times in the ones who love and
adore Him well. They will be the ones who are equipped
and ready for the new season.....I pray I can be one of
them....Please pray for wisdom and strength to keep
standing, connected to His love and out of fear, in this
trial of loss and lack. Phil 4:7-11
I like how you relate the 4 winds
to 4 different winds in the Bible.
You mentioned the different
hemispheres and the north and south wind. That reminds
me of something my sister in law said this week. She
said the following
"But when at pool the other night
the wind was blowing from the west pretty strong, really
see it pushing trees etc, but the clouds that looked
like they would rain or have lightening were moving the
opposite direction. It was very strange because clouds
were very close to ground not those really high ones you
see where jets fly kind of thing. So standing in one
place and seeing both happen at same time in same space
basically. Very strange…any ideas?"
{end quote}
The world may literally see some
strange wind directions coming up in nature that are
signs to those who listen.
When I read this, I was quickened
re: the verse 2 Sam 5: 23 -24.
2 Sam 5:23-25 NKJV
Therefore David inquired of the
LORD, and He said, "You shall not go up; circle around
behind them, and come upon them in front of the mulberry
trees. 24 And it shall be, when you hear the sound of
marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then you
shall advance quickly. For then the LORD will go out
before you to strike the camp of the Philistines."
mulberry = it translates as
"BACA", or weeping, (as in the Valley of Baca)
Bestir = means to sharpen or
decide, move quickly, act promptly
Philistines = immigrants.
So to me, I personally see that
as....."When you hear the wind (the Lord stirring) and
moving in the place(or issue over which) you have been
weeping, then there is a window of time/wind when the
Lord is moving to decide some things and decide to kick
out the "immigrants" (demonic, or worldly influences, or
thoughts and emotions that are not from the Lord) to
give you a Kingly victory.
It also talks in 23 -24 about
coming up behind the bushes, which is a change of
directions. And David only acted after inquiring of the
Lord.
I pray in the midst of
disappointments that we may have had in this long tough
season that we do not miss the wind of God... (sort of
like being in a desert thinking it is only a mirage, so
we do not stop for a drink or to refresh or perceive
that provision is near) and we keep trudging along and
miss it, when all along there is wind there for us to
overcome the philistines....
My personal thought has been that
the Lord has been giving birth corporately to a baby in
the body of Christ that is "Faith" and that
2008-2009-2010 years are almost like 8 -9-10 centimeters
in giving birth, which is transition, which is also the
hardest and when you want to quit. This is the second
half of 2009, so maybe we are almost there. Maybe the
winds of change are like a contraction and it is time to
begin to push through that narrow place...?
I heard the words "the wind of
change" in my spirit twice in 2008. A week after the
1st time I heard the phrase, the political scene in my
country completely changed for the 1st time since
independence. But I believe the phrase "wind of change"
has far greater significance than just the political
arena. In fact, my family relocated to another
state(beyond my natural understanding/liking) late last
year.
Recently, I had a dream which I
understood to be speaking of my calling. In the dream,
a missionary told me he waited for 12 years for the
fulfillment of his prophecy. I received a prophecy
about my calling to be a missionary 11 years ago. I
believe the fullness of time for the dreams, visions
that God has given to His people will soon come in the
year 2010.
Blow, O wind of God!
I see this as a sign that we are
entering a new move of the Spirit. As we near the place
where all things are being made new, restoration, the
complete fulfillment of all prophesy; we are moving into
alignment with the will of God and he is able to use us
fully. Every day I hear of more and more of the church
moving into the fullness of the gifts of the Spirit. As
corporately we move into the holiness of the Lord, His
Spirit can abide with us, move in and through us to do
the will of the Father. Hundreds of doves flowing
together corporately as one massive move of God. Truly
we are returning to what Christ intended as he told his
disciples "Greater things than I have done will you
do". We are His body, His intention was that the Church
carry on his ministry, all of it.
I am reminded that the winds are
the main force that bring new weather patterns.
I seem to be hearing "mighty
winds" from every side. Perhaps it is a message
once again that our time is short. I had an
experience years ago of a "mighty wind" that came to
my mind so I decided to share it. I had gone to a
Christian conference type teaching.
On the last day each of us was
supposed to give a short speech on what we had
learned there. I can't really remember what all I
said..something about finally seeing the Lord's
design which I had been looking at from the wrong
side! Just as I finished the power went off. We
were all in an "Upper Room" which was a former
chapel. Then we heard that there was a "mighty
wind" possibly tornadoes and we were to take cover
in the basement, which we did and finished the
testimonies very quickly by candlelight!! That
experience caused me to make some changes in my
spiritual life and how I worshipped the Lord. It
was a life changing experience for me and even now,
I think of it with a warm glow of the Savior's
presence.
I have felt I ought to listen to
my old Keith Green CD, and am quickened today about this
song of his.
Rushing Wind by Keith Green
(Rushing wind, blow through this
temple, Blowing out the dust within; Come and breathe
your breath upon me I've been born again.
Holy Spirit, I surrender; take me
where you want to go. Cleanse me by your living water,
Plant me deep so I can grow.
Jesus, you're the one who set my
spirit free; Use me, Lord; glorify your Holy Name
through me.
Separate me from this world, Lord;
Sanctify my life for you. Daily change me to your
image, Help me bear good fruit.
Ev'ry day you're drawing closer;
Trials come to test my faith. But when all is said and
done, Lord, You know it's been worth the wait.
Jesus, you're the one who set my
spirit free; Use me, Lord; glorify your Holy Name
through me.
Rushing wind, blow through this
temple, Blowing out the dust within; Come and breathe
you breath upon me, For I've been born again.
I heard a prophetic word once
about winds of refreshing, blowing out the old, it was
to open eyes to miracles that God had ahead.
Praying for a strong wind to push
strongholds out, and gentle winds of comfort too...we
need both together.... praying for a personal
Pentecost.
