GOD SPEAKS THROUGH QUICKENED
EYE GLANCES

“Blessed are your eyes for they see: and your ears, for they hear.” 
(Matthew 13:16 KJ)

He first began teaching me that He speaks through my eyes when I would hear His still small voice say something and then microseconds later my eye would either land upon something, or be drawn to change directions and suddenly glance at something that was a direct confirmation to what I had just heard. I finally learned to be sensitive to His drawing my eyes and to listen to the spiritual parables of what I was viewing. In my level of faith, I do not look for signs, they simply come to me with a quickened eye glance to something that I am thinking about or carrying on my heart.

One day I went to meet my son at the mall earlier than we planned.  As I was asking God where he was, my eyes fell on a poster advertising the small video arcade.  I turned completely around and walked back to that location.  Sure enough, he was happily zooming the joy stick. 

Another time as I was listening to a car radio sermon, I heard a story about a man who was locked in prison with a ball and chain.  When the king pardoned him, they were to weigh his ball and chain on the scales.  He was to receive the weight of the ball and chain in 100 percent pure gold.  Just as I was thinking how precious that was, I came to a stop light.  I glanced at the license plate in front of me;  it said, “GOLD RUSH.”  Suddenly that sermon was relevant (quickened) to me, and I realized the Lord was talking to ME! (Revelation)

The Lord uses this method of talking to us, especially when we are reading.  Sometimes our eyes will tell us He is speaking even before our brains register what we are seeing or hearing.  Once we know that He uses our eyes, then we can tune in and take the “time to ponder” where our eyes have fallen.  If your eyes have been drawn toward a place on the page, take the time to LOOK WHERE YOU GLANCE.  He may open your “spiritual” eyes to a surprise! 

I was wanting to spend some time with the Lord rereading old journal notes that had been organized on the computer and printed out.  As I turned to the table of contents my eyes fell on a certain title.  I thought to myself, “No I don’t want to read that one, I’ll try something else!”  So I turned to another section in the notebook.  After noting the title, I quickly decided that I’d better read that page!  It was the same one I had ignored in the Table of Contents.  After I read it, I repented and told the Lord He certainly knew better than I!

You may have a goal of looking for a particular verse in the Bible when He has already spoken what HE wants to share through where your eyes glanced.  Part of recognizing this is remembering what you are thinking while you are looking.  He so often talks to us this way and we miss it because we are lost in our pursuit.  He wants relationship with us when we sit with Him.  Slow down and enjoy Him.    

The key to tuning into where we glance, is remembering what we were thinking at the time of the glance.  That may sound simple, but our minds wander.  When we practice remembering, we begin to realize just how much.  However, with this new habit in place the Lord will open many avenues of hearing Him in our surroundings.  It becomes a true joy of discovery.

CHRIST IN YOU

I think my favorite ways of hearing the Lord talk to me is through quickened eye glances because it is so intimate. He lives inside of us, and once we begin to really understand that, it puts a whole new perspective on intimacy and oneness in Him.

This intimacy is something I absolutely LOVE in recognizing His quickened eye glances. He first started training me that He speaks through my eyes by hearing His still small voice.  I would hear a single word or a phrase and then instantly my eyes would land on something, or be drawn into a certain direction before they landed on something. It would be like finding an Easter egg or a hidden treasure unveiled right before my eyes. I would have such joy over those times.

And here is the most, the very most intimate part about it. One day as I was rejoicing over hearing Him this way, He shared with me, "Christ in you, the hope of glory." I suddenly realized there is nothing more intimate than having Him so close, so near that He lives inside.  The Almighty God lives inside of us! And He remains hidden until we start becoming consecrated and learning to lay our flesh down and be drawn by His Spirit.

I once had a vision of my being inside and encased in white armor. As I was peering out the face shield, I pulled back and took a look at the inside of this armor. I suddenly had the knowledge that Jesus was there inside the armor with me, and then together we stepped forward and put our eyes into the peep holes of the armor and looked.

...the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.  I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. 

DRAWN BY HIS SPIRIT AND QUICKENING

One day, after I was trained that HE was drawing my eye gates, I started "hearing" His Word without actually hearing His still small voice. They would land on something and it would be "quickened" to me in some way. This quickening sometimes would be accompanied by immediate understanding, but sometimes I would only feel drawn by it and it would stir me somehow. I had learned the experience of His quickening upon things, and so I stop and consider where my eye lands. And then all of a sudden, the "veils" are removed and the revelation hits me (ha! right between the eyes!) and I KNOW what He is saying to me at that instant.... all because He taught me this secret power of being perceptive to where my eyes are being drawn.

GUARD YOUR OWN EYE GATES

Demonic doors of drugs, etc can open the porthole to receive demonic visions.  So, it is very important to be able to put confidence in what we see by dedicating our eyes to the Lord and consecrating our eye gates to Him.  If you have not read how to have consecrated and holy visions, please CLICK HERE.

PRECIOUS QUICKENED EYE GLANCE: Today at the grocery store, I heard the Lord say, “Plant her.” Then my eye immediately fell onto a title of a can of peanuts called Planters.

I have waited a long time for the Lord to fulfill this promise. He is doing that now.

WORD TO PONDER: A TIME TO PLANT

You were moved through no fault of your own. Your roots have been deeply disturbed.  Yes the waste has fallen by the wayside, but you, My precious planting, have been uprooted.  I know your pain.  I AM here to give you hope.

I will give you a delightful season to be re-established.  It will be a time of confirming, a time to root down and wax firmly.  I will strengthen you and you shall no longer doubt and falter.  Rest in My love for you.  I AM coming soon to do this new thing.  Receive My encouragement.

WORD TO PONDER: EMPTY NEST

You have heard of the poem, “There are two lasting gifts you can give your children.  One is roots and the other is wings.”  I know this has been close to your heart being given both in your own life.  And now that a generation has passed and you have given your children both, you wonder if your assignment is done.  Far from it, My child!  I hear you asking,  “What's next, Papa?”

Did you forget that I too have given you roots and wings?  You will not be left behind, My love. Rather, you will be flying with your children.  Together you shall enjoy My anointing and together you shall be lifted up into My Presence.  So take courage and hope in your heart that I am not through with you yet.  We have just begun, the best is yet to come.

PHRASE ON THE CD SONG: While I was driving, I had just heard the phrase in a song, “Oh the tears of those now weeping, they shall become crystallized jewels. They are now the seeds of joy.”

Your worth is so much more than you have deemed possible, My love.  Each one of your loving moments have been recorded in My book of memories and I have not forgotten.  All your tears, all your yearnings, all your dreams, all your hopes, all your promises, all your Words, all your prayers, all your joys and all your sorrows.  As you have entrusted them to Me, I have turned them into beautiful diamonds.  Did I not say you are My treasured jewel?  And I will reward you and adorn you with a bountiful harvest of heavenly riches that is far surpassing anything you ever deemed possible.

“Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who meditate on His name. "They shall be Mine," says the LORD of hosts, "On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him." CONFIRMATION QUICKENED EYE GLANCE: I looked up at the CreationScapes TV screen that was showing creation scenes, scriptures and Christian music.  The scene was a resting kitten.

ANOINTED HANDS SCRIPTURE: Then I turned with anointed hands to:

“And He called a little child to Himself and put him in the midst of them, And said, Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change, turn about) and become like little children [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven [at all]. Whoever will humble himself therefore and become like this little child [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving] is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever receives and accepts and welcomes one little child like this for My sake and in My name receives and accepts and welcomes Me.”  Matt 18:2-5 AMP

HEARD: I am with you. I will go with you. I am not losing you.

QUICKENED EYE GLANCE: I glanced up again and the CreationScapes screen had turned to a mother duck and a bunch of babies.

The scripture on the screen was:

Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it." And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.

HEARD: I shall establish them.

I WILL BE RAISING ROLE MODELS

In the days to come, I will establish role models where the “fathers” and the youth bond together. These “fathers” will continue with them through life. They shall teach the youth and the youth will be blessed as they take heed to their counsel. All shall follow after Jesus' example.
