PUT ON THE MIND
OF CHRIST
1 Cor 2:13-16 NKJV
These things we also speak, not in words which man's
wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches,
comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the
natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of
God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know
them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who
is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is
rightly judged by no one. For "who has known the mind of
the LORD that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind
of Christ.
Since I was a child, I have prayed and asked the Lord to
have the mind of Christ. I thought that it was a gift
that He would give me. And it is true, every part of
life in God, is His gift given to us, because we can’t
live the Christian life without His daily help. I do
believe that part of the reason I have heard His still
small voice speak His thoughts so much is due to the
repetition of that prayer since childhood.
However, we are also given stewardship over our own
minds. If we really understood this, we would take much
stronger action in regards to our thinking.

For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he...

...bringing every thought into captivity to the
obedience of Christ...

The Lord gave me the following rhema, telling me that
the mind of Christ is something we PUT ON. That
requires action on our part.
PUT ON THE MIND
OF CHRIST
PIX 12/24/07: I saw a couple of sunhat visors
that I had put away in my hair accessories drawer.
HEARD: Road map. Put ON the mind of Christ. A
gift, I want you to have it. First you receive. Say
thank you. You’re welcome. Now then, put it on.
Hat.
Rom 13:11-14 NKJV
And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time
to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer
than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the
day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of
darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us
walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and
drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and
envy. But put
on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no
provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
HEARD: Put on the mind of Christ, just like
you saw. It’s a choice beloved. Take a minute. Your
future is Mine.
PIX: I saw a whole tray of fudge brownies!
HEARD: Is it flesh or is it Spirit? This
or that?
PIX: I saw a doggie come screeching to a halt,
but then started passionately running after something
again.
WORD TO PONDER: PUT ON THE MIND OF CHRIST JESUS
I have given you safe boundaries to follow My Word and
to protect your mind from carnality. Always test each
Word with scripture. Always gird your mind with My own
parameters. I will re-establish you to be settled and
secure so that you may once again increase your
territory in a safe and balanced fashion.
Beloved one, forsake the temptations to think carnally.
Maturity comes to those who put ON the mind of Christ.
Just like you put on a hat, simply put on a spiritual
hat when you hear My Word. When you put on My mind, you
will be strengthened and fully confirmed. Each and
every confirmation shall increase your passion to run
the race once again with renewed vigor and expectation.
Gal 3:26-27 NKJV
For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ
Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ
have put on Christ.
Eph 4:22-24 NKJV
... that you put off, concerning your former conduct,
the old man which grows corrupt according to the
deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your
mind, and that you put on the new man which was created
according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
Col 3:10 NKJV
...put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge
according to the image of Him who created him...
