Assignment: Prophesy a Warning
The following is my rhema for 5/07/10. It was quite
quickened to me as a timely Word from the Lord to His
people, after my having just communicated with a
spiritual son who was not repenting, even though
lovingly warned for several years. Take the
following rhema and prophesy a one paragraph Word that
is a warning to the body of Christ. Let the tone of
your prophesying be as Jesus did over Jerusalem.
Matt 23:37-39
"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the
prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often
I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen
gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not
willing! 38 See! Your house is left to you desolate;
39 for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you
say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!'"

For by the grace (unmerited favor of God) given to me
I warn everyone among you not to estimate and think of
himself more highly than he ought [not to have an
exaggerated opinion of his own importance], but to rate
his ability with sober judgment, each according to the
degree of faith apportioned by God to him. For as in one
physical body we have many parts (organs, members) and
all of these parts do not have the same function or use,
So we, numerous as we are, are one body in Christ (the
Messiah) and individually we are parts one of another
[mutually dependent on one another]. Having gifts
(faculties, talents, qualities) that differ according to
the grace given us, let us use them: [He whose gift is]
prophecy, [let him prophesy] according to the proportion
of his faith; [He whose gift is] practical service, let
him give himself to serving; he who teaches, to his
teaching; He who exhorts (encourages), to his
exhortation; he who contributes, let him do it in
simplicity and liberality; he who gives aid and
superintends, with zeal and singleness of mind; he who
does acts of mercy, with genuine cheerfulness and joyful

wherever you want me to go. I will even go to the
rich. She meant that as though to say they are the
worst people in the world to minister to.
PERRY STONE: The reason it is so hard for a
camel to get through the needle gate is that even though
it can crawl on its knees, it wont bow it's neck. This
is a symbol of being stiff necked.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Assuredly, I say
to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the
kingdom of heaven. 24 And again I say to you, it is
easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle
than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
CLASS RESPONSES TO THE ASSIGNMENT
Beloved, seek my face while it may be found. Don't you
know that I love you with an everlasting love, and
desire to commune with you. Many times and many ways I
have positioned you unto myself to love, but you would
not.
Many times I have brought you to the river to drink of
me, but you refused. Because I love you I have even
brought the river to you, but still you refused to taste
and see. But like Balaam upon his donkey headed toward
the sword I say unto you this day, turn. If you hear my
voice, do not any longer harden your heart. For my plans
for you are for good and not for evil.

you humble yourselves and repent before Me. The
consequences of your disobedience will be greater than
you expect; for you will fall in great humility.

uphold the humble in spirit". Pro: 29:23
"And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased, and
he that shall humble himself shall be exalted". Matt:
23:12
"But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God
resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble".

Which tree are you?, the Lord asks. There is the smooth
kind (walking in the Spirit) and a thorny one (works of
the flesh). Maybe two opposite trees are growing at the
same time.
Every tree is known by its fruit (Matt 12:33, Luke
6:44). A good tree brings forth good fruit, and a
corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A corrupt tree
cannot bring forth good fruit, nor does a good tree
bring forth evil fruit (Matt 7:17-19, Matt 12:33, Luke
6:43-44).
Two trees may be growing simultaneously ... in the areas
of your life where you have yielded in total submission
to the Lord the tree is good, producing good fruit.
In areas of the soul where the works of the flesh are in
control (Gal 5:19-21), the fruit is an indication of a
corrupt tree. If there is malice or bitter envying,
jealousies, strife, greed, ambition, or disobedience of
any kind -- don't deny the truth, just confess and
forsake it (James 3:14). If you live in the Spirit, and
crucify the flesh, you will produce the fruits of the
Spirit (love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness,
goodness, faith, gentleness, self-control, Gal 5:22-23).
Your life will be so much more blessed. Your
relationships will be better. Life will go better for
you when you walk in My ways of living and doing things.
Lay the axe to the root of the bad tree (Matt 3:10).
Allow Me to prune the good tree so that you become even
more fruitful, and we are one even as My Father and I
are one (John 15).
Song: Is Your All on the Altar
You have longed for sweet peace, and for faith to
increase
You have earnestly and fervently prayed.
But you cannot have rest or be perfectly blessed
Until your all on the altar is laid.
Is your all on the altar of sacrifice laid?
Your heart does the Spirit control?
You can only be blessed and have peace and sweet rest
As you yield Him your body and soul.

Jeremiah 3:21 - 4:4
Voices are heard high on the windswept mountains, the
weeping and pleading of Israel's people. For they have
chosen crooked paths and have forgotten the Lord their
God. "My wayward children," says the Lord, "come back to
me, and I will heal your wayward hearts."
"Yes, we're coming," the people reply, "for you are the
Lord our God. Our worship of idols on the hills and our
religious orgies on the mountains are a delusion. Only
in the Lord our God will Israel ever find salvation.
From childhood we have watched as everything our
ancestors worked for- their flocks and herds, their sons
and daughters- was squandered on a delusion. Let us now
lie down in shame and cover ourselves with dishonor, for
we and our ancestors have sinned against the Lord our
God. From our childhood to this day we have never obeyed
him."
"O Israel," says the Lord, "if you wanted to return to
me you could. You could throw away your detestable idols
and stray away no more. Then when you swear by my name,
saying, 'As surely as the Lord lives,' you could do so
with truth, justice, and righteousness. then you would
be a blessing to the nations of the world, and all
people would come and praise my name."

A warning: Let the shout go forth, let the warning be
heard, let the trumpet of the watchman sound forth it's
declarative blast- Repent! Repent! Bow your knees and
humble your heart, forsake your illusions and destroy
your gods. Know the truth, there is no other God. He is
the maker and creator of the universe and everything in
it. Let us kiss the Son lest he should become angry. Let
us kneel before the Lord our maker, for He is our God
and we shall have no other.
The Lord hears the cry of his children, the Lord saves
those who call on His name. See the Lord is good, He
will go before you and destroy the destroyer. You will
stand and see all that the Lord your God will do. He is
pleased to rescue His people and is pleased to see the
humble in heart. His love and faithfulness endure
forever!

"I am righteous and humble!" you say. But I say to you,
look again.
My beloved, even as you proclaim your humility to me, I
can see that your heart is lifted higher. Lower
yourself, my child, by looking around you.
Remember my Word: "with humility of mind regard one
another as more important than yourselves" (Philippians
2:3). I wish to lift you up, but my child, if you have
become "wise in your own eyes" (Proverbs 3:7), how may I
exalt you? I cannot exalt you, because you are not bowed
down before Me.
Humble thyself in the sight of the Lord in repentance.
Come before Me and I will bring you times of refreshing.
It is better to be humbled and to be lifted up by the
Lord than to exalt yourself. Seek Me in repentance and
prepare to be restored.
"Humble thyself in the sight of the Lord, and He will
lift you up." (James 4:10)
{This was a tough assignment for me, the words did not
seem to flow well...I struggle with warnings and
admonishments, although I'm trying!}

It is written for our admonition so that we do not have
to learn the hard way! God became aggravated with His
children because they refused to believe Him, therefore
they missed out on His REST…Listen! The Living God still
extends that invitation to enter into that REST, so
Today when we HEAR His Voice through a promise, a
prophetic Word, a quickened sign, etc….let us DARE to
BELIEVE Him & then that same REST will become our very
own! We are His Sheep & we KNOW His Voice!
1 Corinthians 10:11 ~Now all these things happened to
them as examples & they were written for our admonition…
Hebrews 4:1,2,7,11 ~Since this promise remains of
entering His Rest, let us fear lest any of us come short
of it, for indeed the good news was given to us, as well
as to them but the Word which they heard did not profit
them because they did not mix it with faith…Today if you
will hear His Voice, do not harden your hearts....Let us
therefore be diligent to enter that rest..
John 10:4 ~His Sheep follow Him because they know His
Voice...

NOTE FROM SANDY: The above is an excellent example of
what scripture calls an ADMONITION, from brother to
brother. However it is not the assignment which is
prohesying a loving warning as from the Lord to His
people.
Here is a portion of what I have written about
admonitions and you can see how well your admonition
fits the description:
Scripture says when we admonish, we are to gently rebuke
or warn. An admonishment is from a brother to the
brothers. (As opposed to prophesying, which is a love
letter from God to His people.) An admonishment carries
a concern for something that has gone awry that is no
longer according to scripture. In contrast to building
up through a prophesy, admonishments are used to tear
down. However, notice that even in admonishments, they
are carried with only gentle reproof and mild language.

warning

And if anyone does not obey our word in this epistle,
note that person and do not keep company with him, that

I have spoken into your life before and I am still
speaking. I am waiting for you.
I have been patient and I will continue to be. You see
You have been called into this place of prominence for I
have purposed to do a kingdom work through you. You must

abandoned Me, the fountain of Living Water & they have
dug for themselves cracked cisterns that can hold no
water at all...
Return-- you wayward children & I will heal you! Is
anyone thirsty? Come & drink even if you have no money!
Come, take your choice of wine or milk--it's all free!
Why spend your money on food that does not give you
strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen
to me & you will eat what is good..You will enjoy the
finest of food....If you are willing & obedient, you
shall eat the good of the Land...No good thing will He
withhold from you who walk uprightly...
Lord, give us this bread always...I AM the Living Bread
that come down from Heaven..Anyone who eats this Bread

My heart bleeds when i look down on you and see your

and go about giving false word. be warned my priests. i
have come to make right what is not right.

Lord of hosts but you have turned aside out of the way.
you have caused many to stumble by your i nstruction,
you have corrupted the covenant of levi says the lord of
hosts. there fore have i also made you despised and
abased before all the people in as uch as you have not
kept my ways but have shown favoritism to persons in
your adminisntration of the law of JGod.

My child, if you really know me, if you know My love for
you, you will run to me. You will not satisfy yourself
with the things of this world. You are settling for
second best. You have the choice. You can run to me. My
arms are wide open to receive you. I will give you
living water that will satisfy your soul and not leave
you thirsty again. It is your choice? You reap the
consequences

I have sounded the trumpet and some have heeded the
warning, many are left in disarray and filled with
contempt. My hand is held out still, and opens to
receive all that make a move in my direction, still they
would not come to me. I say ‘Cast your cares upon me, I
care for you. And still, they hold back.
In these last days many will come to the fountain, and I
say, drink of it, but in hesitation they refrain,
desiring only to appease the flesh, desiring to satisfy
the senses, the emotions, the things that are seen, felt
and heard and what taste good is lovely to the pallet.
But still my hand is extended.
There is a place in Me, where the water runs deep, it is
recognized in your very thoughts and imaginations, but
it has to be manifested, Open your heart to receive it,
and by opening your heart, you have opened your self,
drink from this fountain that you might be filled, allow
me to pour in and then you may pour out, it is a process
that cannot be contained.
Be to me, the very conduit that I can use in this hour
and be filled with the Holy Ghost. I speak to your
spirit man, ‘be filled with the Hold Ghost’. For in this
hour, my presence will be manifested through you.
Zechariah 13: 1(KJV); In that day there shall be a
fountain opened to the house of David and to the
inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.
1Peter 5:7(KJV); Casting all your care upon him; for he
careth for you

I have saved you from your own destruction. I love you
so much; that I have given up everything for you, turn
from your wicked ways back to me , and repent...I have
accepted and forgiven you, now respond to my love and
allow me to change your life forever.

Oh, little one, how hard you try to keep control over
your life and the events that surround you. If you would
only trust Me, you would see that what I have for you is
far better than what you are striving for. Just because
you cannot see Me or the end of My plan from its
beginning, doesn't mean that I have left you to wander
about on your own. You can continue on your path, if you
wish, but oh, how I long to give you so much more! Don't
settle for "good enough", hold on and trust Me for the
best!

PROPHESY A WARNING –
I see you walking down a path, that for now, seems broad
and wide and you are seemingly able to walk it in your
own strength, and call it your own accomplishment. Those
days are coming to an end.
I see ahead a season where this path will narrow. The
places that you are coming to will not be navigable in
your own strength. I AM calling you to repent of all
pride, all control, all self-serving, all manuevering,
and to lay down all your own accomplishments. It is time
to let go. It is time to trust Me, to submit to Me, to
walk hand in hand with Me, to allow Me to love you so
that you may walk in My ways and in My strength.
If you push Me aside, I cannot protect you the way I
desire. Your own path leads to destruction. My paths are
peace. I long in this season for you to hear and obey,
and in so doing, walk in the certain provision I have
for you. We are coming to a decisive season. A season of
decision – choose this day - Who will you serve? If you
choose Me not…
I will block your path with thornbushes; I will wall you
in so that you cannot find your way. You will chase
after your lovers but not catch them; You will look for
them but not find them. Then you will say, 'I will go
back to my husband as at first, for then I was better
off than now.' Hosea 2:6-7
I am the bridegroom at the altar waiting for your
declaration of love and waiting for you to say, “I do
and I will.” I am longing to give you all that you need
- For you to know that all I have is yours, all that My
name provides is yours, and all of My love is yours. Do
not hold yourself any longer away from Me, but come
quickly before the wedding feast adjourns and there is
no time. It is time now, to no longer tarry, but to run
to Me, to bring your heart to Me, and allow Me to cover
you with My love.
