HE SPEAKS
THROUGH OTHER PEOPLE’S MOUTHS
Within a few days of each
other, I had a gal send me an email that said, “You're
the absolute best of the best!” That really touched my
heart, I hadn’t heard that phrase before. And then a few
days later I was at a conference and the pastor prayed
over me and asked the Lord if He would give me His very
best. I had never heard anyone pray that before and it
was really quickened to me as He brought back the
remembrance of that email.
When I came home, Wayne asked
me why they called Good Friday, Good? I responded it was
because Jesus gave His very best gift, His life. I knew
this was the Lord’s quickened Word, as He filled my
mouth, my friend’s mouth and the pastor’s mouth with His
answer.
James 1:17-18 NKJV
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,
and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom
there is no variation or shadow of turning.
John 10:11, 14-16 NKJV
"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His
life for the sheep.... 14 I am the good shepherd; and I
know My sheep, and am known by My own. 15 As the Father
knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My
life for the sheep.
John 3:14-17 NKJV
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,
even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have
eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave
His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God
did not send His Son into the world to condemn the
world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Several years later I had gone
through much death to self, and one of these was having
to sacrifice the first fruits of a spiritual promise.
This was not money, as many teach, but this was actually
a person, just like Abraham obeyed God and laid Isaac on
the alter. This was very hard to do because to me, it
was also laying down my faith. I had stood and
contended and given everything I had in regards to
trusting in the Lord’s Words. The Lord told me He would
multiply my promise and it would bear fruit for
multitudes, because I was willing to offer the best of
what He gave me.
One day after I was over most
of the pain of this, I heard a prophet say that God
always wants the BEST of the first fruits. The first
fruits belong to God.
Ex 23:18-19 NKJV
The first of the firstfruits
of your land you shall bring into the house of the LORD
your God.
It was then that I remembered
another prophet’s testimony who had stood for his
brother’s healing in prayers and fastings. Before his
brother died, the Lord said that He wanted to bring his
brother home to Him and that when he planted his brother
in the ground, this would be the first fruit sacrifice.
The multiplication of this would be that he would
receive the gift to heal many of that incurable
disease.
John 12:24-25 NKJV
Most assuredly, I say to
you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and
dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much
grain. He who loves his life will lose it, and he who
hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal
life.
WORD TO PONDER: MY BEST FOR YOU
Dear ones, when you give Me your all, I give you Mine.
When you lay down your life for Me, I lay all aside for
you. When you give Me your best, I give you My best.
And when you have failed to give your best, and you
return to Me wholeheartedly in repentance and change, I
still give you My best. I give you My best robe and
ring, My best gifts, the best of My oil, new wine and
grain. I give you the best of the land. I give you My
best, because I AM your Good Father and I give good
gifts to My children. I give you My very best because
You are My precious child.
Luke 15:22-24 NKJV
"But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the
best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand
and sandals on his feet. 23 And bring the fatted calf
here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; 24 for
this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and
is found.' And they began to be merry.
1 Cor 12:31 AMP
But earnestly desire and zealously cultivate the
greatest and best gifts and graces (the higher gifts and
the choicest graces). And yet I will show you a still
more excellent way [one that is better by far and the
highest of them all — love].
Num 18:12-13 NKJV
"All the best of the oil, all the best of the new wine
and the grain, their firstfruits which they offer to the
LORD, I have given them to you.
Gen 45:17-20 NKJV
And Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Say to your brothers, 'Do
this: Load your animals and depart; go to the land of
Canaan. 18 Bring your father and your households and
come to me; I will give you the best of the land of
Egypt, and you will eat the fat of the land. 19 Now you
are commanded — do this: Take carts out of the land of
Egypt for your little ones and your wives; bring your
father and come. 20 Also do not be concerned about your
goods, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.'
