GOD SPEAKS THROUGH SUPERNATURAL SIGNS

The Lord uses supernatural signs to gain the world's attention.  Just like when Moses was drawn away from what he was doing to see the burning bush:

Ex 3:1-4 NLT

Suddenly, the angel of the LORD appeared to him as a blazing fire in a bush. Moses was amazed because the bush was engulfed in flames, but it didn't burn up. "Amazing!" Moses said to himself. "Why isn't that bush burning up? I must go over to see this." When the LORD saw that he had caught Moses' attention, God called to him from the bush, "Moses! Moses!"

After the Lord got his attention, He spoke to Moses personally.

THE SIGN OF THE BIRDS

I love birds.  The Lord has spoken to me many times through bird parables, bird pictures and anything related to birds.  One day I was listening to  Bobby Conner’s bird story.  (http://www.bobbyconner.org/ )

He loves to feed the birds. His trees are filled with hundreds of birds. He was rushing around to meet a deadline, and thought he had better fill the bird feeders before he left. He scooped a bucket of seed and then quickly ran into the yard. Hundreds of birds all took off and flew away. As he saw this, his heart grieved. There was one tiny bird which remained perched on the tree with its head peering around, so he could keep a careful watch on Bobby. Bobby saw this and said to the bird, "Would you tell them I meant them no harm? I only wanted to help them." Immediately the little bird made 4 little twills and hundreds of birds swooped from the sky and surrounded Bobby. They landed on top of Bobby, the ground and everywhere. It was a God fearing moment as the Lord talked to Bobby about this experience in relation to life as it was before the fall of Adam.

Rom 8:19-23 NLT

For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. Against its will, everything on earth was subjected to God's curse. All creation anticipates the day when it will join God's children in glorious freedom from death and decay. For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.

This especially blessed me, because a Word to Ponder about the flighty birds came out on the elist the night before. Then the same afternoon Bobby shared his bird story, I sent a Word to a friend, noting that we were praying for this person. I have the habit of asking the Lord to let me know when the person reads what I sent, so I can pray.  As I was upgrading my Mom's computer something caught my eye. I looked up, and there in our bay window was a tiny bird. He was hovering with his nose looking through the window. He was looking at my husband's prayer chair. I have never seen a bird (other than humming birds) hover in mid air and look inside a window! It was a true sign of the Lord that my friend had received the Word and was encouraged that we were praying.

WORD TO PONDER:  LISTEN TO MY SIGNS IN THE EARTH

Precious ones, how much I have to share with you! Behold the seeds of My Word are liberally spread and heaped all over the earth for your pleasure. As the days move forward into maturity, I AM bringing forth My supernatural signs to confirm My Words to you. The signs may burst forth upon the scene and cause you great fear if you are not firmly planted in Me. Or they may appear naturally as they seemingly suspend before your very eyes. Fear not, beloved. Open your ears and listen, for I truly desire to speak to you through all of creation.

Mark 16:20  KJV

And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

"I will explain mysteries hidden since the creation of the world. Jesus always used stories and illustrations like these when speaking to the crowds. In fact, he never spoke to them without using such parables. This fulfilled the prophecy that said, "I will speak to you in parables." (Matt 13:34-35 NLT)

SUPERNATURAL SNOW: 
HE COVERS OUR SINS

One time I was in an intercession about grieving the Holy Spirit. I had a vision where I saw a mother holding her child.  She shrunk down to the floor, fitting into a very tiny space as though they were both sitting in a round baby walker. It was the only space left for them to occupy as they had been pushed aside.   I had been experiencing a very heavy grieving of the Holy Spirit.  I would feel perfectly fine and then suddenly something very deep would rise up in my spirit like a wave of overwhelming grief. 

I saw the culmination of the many prophets and sent ones who were rejected and stoned and spilled their blood to be able to defend the Holy Spirit and declare His Word. I realized with total clarity that because the Holy Spirit had been quenched, all the churches and denominations that once knew the Holy Spirit were taken into famine and then finally their lights went out.    Outside of a small remnant that He has preserved, I understood that each and every door He has knocked on in history has put Him in a smaller and smaller place... to the point that entire families, churches, denominations, cities, and countries had been under the curse of famine from hearing Him.

I sobbed, and sobbed and sobbed. It was not my own pain. My tears were for HIM. I was so deeply impacted by the suffering of the Holy Spirit... the depth of His love, His longing, His longsuffering and relentlessness to keep knocking and trying to find someone who will listen and give Him room. I cried for Him and kept telling Him how deeply sorry I was for His pain and all that we had done to Him to resist Him. I asked the Father's forgiveness for all mankind for we have pushed Him away, and treated His heart and Word so glibly.

I asked the Lord to forgive us for grieving His Holy Spirit. I asked Him to please forgive us for quenching Him and putting Him in such a small, hindered place in our lives, families and churches. I asked Him to forgive us for despising His Words through the prophets, and for killing all those He sent to us as His warnings, pleadings, and knockings. I asked that He would, in His mercy, give us a second chance and break the curse over the world's ears to hear His voice. I asked that He would come once again and rain upon us and that He would give us grace to receive Him in His fullest expression.

I could not even fathom the longsuffering He has gone through to have suffered the same quest through out all of history. His love is so deep, so passionate, so intense that no amount of rejection and suffering has kept Him from His quest! He has been relentless to find His resting place where His fullness can dwell without restraints, without measure, and with the fullest expression.

Luke 13:34-35 NKJV

"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!'"

1 Thess 5:19-22 NKJV

Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.

1 Thess 5:20-22 AMP

Do not spurn the gifts and utterances of the prophets {do not depreciate prophetic revelations nor despise inspired instruction or exhortation or warning}. But test and prove all things {until you can recognize} what is good; {to that} hold fast. Abstain from evil {shrink from it and keep aloof from it} in whatever form or whatever kind it may be.

The day after my intense intercession, it snowed. I was so touched.  I kept thinking about this scripture, that He had covered our sins of grieving the Holy Spirit.  I knew it was a sign from the Lord.

Wayne was looking at the weather map on the internet and said it looked like the whole west coast all the way down to Mexico had snow today. What an awesome sign. I felt it was a supernatural sign from the Lord.

Later updated news cast said that month (January 2008, was the largest winter weather anomaly since 1966, this was not only for North America but the entire northern hemisphere. 

Isa 1:18 NKJV

"Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow ; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.

The Lord responded and I had a vision where I saw I saw 2 fellow angels climb a huge tree and they felled the tree.

I heard the Lord say: “Felled a tree. What is this? A form of religion all its own. What is your e-pinion? Doubt and unbelief. Stronghold. Shame. Is that wild horses outside? To be left out, when you don’t want to be. Freezing. Doubt and unbelief kept you in despair. Kept you from going there.

Stronghold medicine. Forgiveness. Your tears have shattered the icy world. Iceberg. Melt down. Humility. It's a part of the equation. A pocket full of forgiveness. Deeper snow. THOROUGHLY COVERED. Greater love has no man than this than he lay down his life for his friends. Canopy. My shelter. To cover and forgive. Stronghold forgotten. Love covers a multitude of sins.”

WORD TO PONDER: GODLY SORROW

There are times when in solitude, away from the world's escapes and people, that a deep sorrow rises from your heart and you don’t understand it. It is like a grief that squeezes your soul. There is a yearning, a longing accompanying it, that draws you to Me in a bittersweet way. I know that you do not understand these feelings, but you recognize them.

Beloved, you are yoked with Me and My Spirit dwells within you. What you are feeling is the grief of My Spirit as I grieve over what has fallen in your life. When you willingly turn your back on Me and choose to sin, it wounds Me. I see the long term ramification of how your choices ravage not only your life, but also affect many people, even the destinies of the lives you could have touched had you walked differently. You do not walk alone, but are a part of My body and intimately connected.

Sometimes negative reinforcement is the only way to gain your attention. Sorrow and grief are not pleasant, but the memory of its taste is easily brought to mind.

I AM allowing you to feel a small portion of what I feel, so that it produces a Godly sorrow that leads you to repentance, salvation and deliverance. This sorrow will drive you to turn your life into making different choices and do what you can to make things right.

2 Cor 7:10-12 NLT

For God can use sorrow in our lives to help us turn away from sin and seek salvation. We will never regret that kind of sorrow. But sorrow without repentance is the kind that results in death. Just see what this godly sorrow produced in you! Such earnestness, such concern to clear yourselves, such indignation, such alarm, such longing to see me, such zeal, and such a readiness to punish the wrongdoer. You showed that you have done everything you could to make things right.

THE DOVE COMPANY AND THE SIGN OF THE FEATHERS

In 1985 I was given a trance vision about the sons being birthed and then manifested in the fullness of time.  I saw all these corn cobs fall from heaven. They landed straight up and down as though planted in the earth.   The corn cobs represented a fully grown harvest.  I had x-ray eyes and the corn cobs looked like miniature wombs, each one holding a turtle dove.

The doves had their heads down, just like a baby does when it turns in the womb and is ready to be born. They looked like they were all dead, just simply stuck in the ground waiting. Then in the fullness of time and the same season, one by one, they came out of their husks and walked the earth as people. The husks were peeled away and that was a "manifestation" and birthing of what was inside.  I was told I was to wait for this time to come to pass.

These were the ones who were the sacrifices, just like turtle doves were sacrificed unto the Lord. I heard the Lord say to me the Word, "Shibboleth." That word is a mystery word about being fully grown.  Then He referred me to Song of Solomon, 2:12 "The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle (dove) is heard in the land."

Ps 50:5 NKJV

"Gather My saints together to Me, those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice ."

Many years later when the time came for these turtle doves to be birthed, Bob Jones shared a Word where he received the supernatural sign of dove feathers all over his red birthing blanket:

Recently He began to tell me they weren't eagles, they are doves.”

I mean hundreds and hundreds of them. Where I have already given hundreds away. They are taped in a lot of Bibles different places. You've already got eagles, but what is coming out of the hard shell is doves. The cocoon of the anointing is breaking off of doves.”

“So what is being birthed are doves. He came as a dove, He came in weakness. So that the Holy Spirit and His Father can show strength in Him. Some of you have you been brought to be doves. In Romans 16:20 a dove represents peace. It isn't the God of war that subdues satan there, it is the GOD OF PEACE that puts satan under your feet. Papa is talking about these doves? You know what a peacemaker is? A peacemaker is Matt 5:9. They are sons of God. These doves are sons and daughters of God. And where they walk, they are going to take the land. They are going to subdue the enemy because they've got peace. They've got peace like a river that cannot keep from overflowing. There is a generation right now that is not going to be afraid.”

For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil. And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.

God has got His vision on the poor. A lot of your wealthy are not going to change, but they are sure going to be unhappy. But the poor are ready. It is time we become a living sacrifice for the poor nations on this earth. For it is time for the snow white dove. And it is a time where He is giving supernatural signs like these feathers.”

We coming to a time when these doves will not only hear, but in their weakness God will show Himself strong on their behalf. It is in their weakness that God will open doors through out the entire world....”

PEOPLE CALLED TO BE SIGNS

Isa 8:18  KJV

Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

JESUS
When Jesus spoke with 2 heavenly visitors on the mount and when Moses spoke with God on the mount, their faces shone.  Light emanated from the pores of their skin. 

Matt 17:1-2  NLT

Six days later Jesus took Peter and the two brothers, James and John, and led them up a high mountain. As the men watched, Jesus' appearance changed so that his face shone like the sun, and his clothing became dazzling white.

Ex 34:29-30 NKJV

Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him. So when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to come near him.

Jesus is the Light of the world.   And He has called us to be lights of the world.  Many people will literally shine light as they testify of Jesus Christ, after having spent time in the Presence of the Lord.  This is a supernatural sign.  Remember Peter cast a shadow upon people and they were healed.  That word shadow means to cast a shade upon or to envelope in a haze of brilliancy.  (Strongs #1982)

Matt 5:14-16 NKJV

"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.  Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. 

Luke 2:9 NKJV

And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid.

Acts 5:15-16 NKJV

They brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

John 20:30-31

And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.
 

APOSTLES

Apostles will be gifted to generate or cause signs and wonders to come forth.  Not only will their very lives be signs and in what happens to them, but they will also issues signs and wonders through them.

Acts 5:12  KJV

And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.

2 Cor 12:12  KJV

Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.

{Wrought means come into being, to be brought forth.  Strongs #1096}
