HE SPEAKS THROUGH gifts OF HEALING

Gifts of healing are divinely imparted to mend and make well.   Healing can take place as an immediate event, or through a process.   Gifts of healing have authority over the enemy to release the shackles of infirmity.  This brings deliverance to the captive. 

A scriptural  example of immediate healing was: “And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.”  (Luke 6:19 KJ)  An example of a progressive healing was when Jesus led the blind man out of town, made mud and placed it on his eyes.  When Jesus asked if he saw anything, he replied, “I see men as trees, walking.  After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.” (Mark 8:24,25 KJ)

Anna had a friend who was very ill at the hospital.   She had suffered heart problems for years and was on heavy medication for it.   After anointing her friend's feet with her chap-stick,  (I'm sure the Lord chuckled at that!) she held onto them like she did another man's the week before.  [That man's heart had been shocked many times and he was on a respirator.  After thinking about praying for him, she had awakened one morning with a picture of her holding onto his feet and praying.  As it turned out, when she and four others filed into the intensive care room, the only place for her was at his feet.  He was miraculously healed of heart problems while they prayed.] 

This experience with the man's healing, gave her tremendous faith to pray for her friend that day.  After the chap-stick anointing and as she prayed in tongues, her friend received great heat and tingling through her arms and chest.  They both had waves and waves of goose bumps and physically felt the Lord's Presence with great joy.  They were anything but religious, laughing uproariously, and wondering what would happen if a real pastor walked in and saw them.   They knew she was healed but she had promised to have an Angiogram done with a catheter going into her heart, and she decided to go ahead with it.  Anna had absolutely no peace about the test and pleaded with the Lord about it.  As it turned out, her friend seriously convulsed during the test.  However, the good news about the Angiogram was that they found a healed heart.  Later, when she went to the Dr. for her checkup, she told him the Lord had healed her heart and he said, “I don't know who healed your heart, but you came out the winner!”

TANGIBLE MIRACLES

Miracles are a display of God's “super,” over our natural.  They are often manifested in both creative healing and power over the natural forces of this world.  The account of Elisha and the floating ax is an example of a miracle:   “...but as one of them was chopping, his axhead fell into the river. “Oh sir,” he cried, “it was borrowed!”   “Where did it fall?” the prophet asked.  The youth showed him the place, and Elisha cut a stick, and threw it into the water; and the axhead rose to the surface and floated!”  (2 Kings 6:5-6 TLB)

In the last days we are going to witness many miracles.  People will walk on water and air.  I have had dreams of visions of these things taking place.  Since then, I have heard testimonies where walking on water is common in uncivilized countries where missionaries have to cross flood waters to get to villages.  I have also heard of several testimonies of people walking, but they are air lifted and not literally walking on the ground.

In the last days, people will walk through violent mobs and be unharmed.  Some will minister in a crowd and then disappear to some other place. Others will be sent to multiply food.  You name it, we'll probably see it.  “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”  (John 14:12 NKJV)

We tend to forget that miracles are a display of “God's super over our natural”, and think less of miracles occurring in our every day lives.  However, they are none the less outstanding.  Anna has a story of her “miracle well”.

ANNA’S TESTIMONY OF HER MIRACLE WELL

“The Lord awakened me many mornings in a row with His inward audible voice saying,  “Drill a well.”  I didn't think I had the money to do this, but was reminded that I had exactly $4,000.00 in a Life Insurance Policy which I could cash.  One morning I saw a picture-vision of a hand pump,  an electric pump, an elevated 500 gallon holding tank, hot water pipes attached to my wood stove, and where the well was to be drilled.   So, I decided to go ahead. 

My first question to the well drillers was,  “How much will it cost?”  They really thought that was funny.  “We won't know until we drill it, because we don't know how deep we are going to have to go.”  I gulped and told them to go ahead.  I was nervously counting each time the drill went down - they had said it was ten dollars each time!  Bang! - 10 dollars,  Bang! - 20 dollars,  Bang! - 30  dollars.  Finally I gave up and quit counting. 

Suddenly, they came to the door and said,  “Hey, we have your well drilled.  You've got 12 gallons a minute.”  No sooner had they said it, than I heard the Lord say,  “Tell them to keep drilling!”  I didn't even have time to think about it, it just popped out of my mouth, “Keep drilling.”  They looked at me as though they thought I was losing it!  I quickly closed the door and really told the Lord what I thought!  He replied, “You will have 25 gallons a minute.”   I was nervous.  I paced back and forth, counting the drill bangs and then the thought floated into my mind,  “Tell them to make a test.”  I watched water pouring out of the hole and said,  “Please make a test.”  And they did.   “You can't imagine how much water you have!”  I said,  “Yes I do, it's 25 gallons a minute!”   [Later when I had the water tested for minerals, they said it was one of the most perfectly balanced waters they had tested.]  

I told the drillers the whole story about the Lord awakening me and everything that had led up to it.  They put in the hand pump, and the pressure tank, and the 500 gallon holding tank with the necessary plumbing, so that I could have gravity flow into the house from the holding tank.  When I got the bill it was $4134.91.  I called them and told them that they had put something in that I didn't need and to remove it because I only had $4,000.00.  An hour later they called me and said,  “We think we have a way around the $134.91.  If we can bring people out to see your system, we'll chalk it up to advertising.”  Miracles still happen in every day life.

LITERALLY being transported IN his SPIRIT

There is a kind of “renewed” transportation that will be taking place in these last days.  It is being transported in the Spirit.  John the disciple had an interesting thing happen in his vision:  “And I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things.  And he said to me, “Do not do that; I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book; worship God.”  (Revelation 22:8-9 NASB) The man who appeared in his vision was a man, not an angel!  Now how did that occur unless he was literally transported in the Spirit?  

Another time after Philip finished ministering to the eunuch, the Holy Spirit literally transported him out of the desert and back to town.  “And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.  But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.”  (Acts 8:26-40  KJ)

I heard of a man who was in bed groaning and praying under a painful pancreas attack.  Suddenly, a Mexican man from a small village who had been praying to be used by the Lord, appeared at his bedside.  The Mexican said, “I have been sent to pray for you!”  He was a real man with real skin.  He was not an angel! 

Anna took two others to an elegant birthday lunch in another town.  It ended up that one of them got a nail in her crepe so they all received their meals at no cost.  They were very blessed.  As they drove to see the view from a nearby mountain, they were praising the Lord and lost track of the time.  As she looked at the clock, she saw it was a little after 4:00 with choir practice at 5:00.  She said,  “Uh oh, looks like we are going to be late for choir practice.”  They continued to sing on the way home and were having a wonderful time.  When they came to a town which should have been 1 hour and 20 minutes away from the top of the mountain, she looked at the clock and it was 4:25 - an hour's jump in time from the mountain top! 

I have heard testimonies of the Lord transporting luggage, keys and even a pocket knife.  I have heard several testimonies of ministers being transported in their cars to make it to meetings on time.  Also, John Paul Jackson has a testimony where the Lord literally air lifted his car up and protected him from a serious car wreck.  Several witnesses saw the whole thing and were amazed.

I have also heard of testimonies where people have been in two locations at the same time.  One was at home in their body, which was in a trance, vision, or just dreaming.  And the second was where they were transported to another place to minister.  - Only the other place was real, their ministry was real, the people were real, the people remembered the ministry later, and it wasn't just a dream!  In these last days people will be transported in their dreams at night to far away lands, and they will minister to other people prepared and waiting for them!   Wonderful and incredible and exciting things are going to happen in these last days.  God is going to pull out all the plugs to bring in His last day harvest!  He's going to use every available vessel to reach out and touch a hurting world.  All He wants, is our, “Yes Lord, send me!”
